I love this taqueria! Best in town and if anyone tells you any different, THEY'RE LYING! All jokes aside, we've been going there for years and never do they disappoint! Amazing food and I'll continue to support this small family owned restaurant as long as I live in Ft. Worrh!

So I truly enjoy Mexican food.... not Tex-mex but authentic Mexican food. I grew up in a border town and have travelled extensively in central and South America. This is not worth your time..... reading the other reviews it looks like I ordered the wrong thing because everyone is raving about the menudo and pozole... I had the Gordita plate with guisada and al pastor and no onions - my plate came out with onions. My friend had the chicken quesadilla and said it was ok, but he would never order it again. Truly a let down - and pricey for what we got!

I had a friend dinner date w/ my gal pal. She chose this place. My friend received service right away. Chips were fresh and salsa was lightly salted. It was so good I was craving it the next day. I tried the burrito plate w rice andbeans. The burrito was super huge and beans were bland and un-flavorful. The rice had a unique taste to it. Honestly, Rosas Cafe and Taco Bueno taste better than this.

The absolute best caldo de res in Fort Worth. Have not found anything as good as the caldo here.

Let me just start off by saying that I don't really like menudo. Everywhere I've had it its always bland and flavorless. Las Fuentes is different. They have a certain je ne sais quoi here. I always end up getting a big bowl here, it's that good. That's a testament of how good Las Fuentes menudo is.
Also the meats for tacos, burritos and tortas is worth mentioning as well. They have all the standard barbacoa, lengua, chicharrón and alpastor and some other meets I don't remember. But it's all great and tasty. The burritos are pretty decent size and pretty affordable.
If you come early on weekends they have freshly made mexican sweet bread. Definitely check those out.
This is definitely a hidden gem hole in the wall restaurant in a neighborhood littered with a ton of great Mexican restaurants. Worth checking out if you're in south fort worth. Also worth noting this is mostly known as a breakfast and lunch food joint. That's what they specialize in and that's what's best on the menu.
